Boston, Massachusetts – 5 November 1868. Vote With Your Feet protest and antiwar march in Boston, organized by SDS, the Massachusetts Mobilization, and New England Resistance. SDS organized contingents beginning on Cambridge Common and at Boston University to march to a rally on Boston Common to urge people not to vote in the election.Carrying a sign in the middle fo the protesters is Jozef Mlet-Miroz, a former Polish freedom fighter and a refugee from W.W. II, and president of the Anti-Communist Confederation of Polish Freedom Fighters in the U.S.A., Inc. He was a presence at pro-Vietnam War rallies, and protesting at anti-Vietnam War rallies, as well as carrying anti-Semitic signs at events including the sentencing of the Boston Five.
