Boston, Massachusetts – 5 November 1868. Vote With Your Feet protest and antiwar march in Boston, organized by SDS, the Massachusetts Mobilization, and New England Resistance. SDS organized contingents beginning on Cambridge Common and at Boston University to march to a rally on Boston Common to urge people not to vote in the election. Protesters walking from BU to Boston Common, carrying a banner that reads “Get Out of Vietnam Now No Negotions.” (Part of the banner obscured by a protester.)
